Dr. Peter Janovic


Dr Peter Janovic graduated from Monash University in 1979 with MBBS. He gained Fellowship of RACGP in 1984.
Dr Janovic has been a practicing GP in Mooroolbark for over 30 years.

He is widely experienced in all facets of general practice with specific interests in chronic disease management and mental health issues.

Dr Janovic is also a Senior Clinician at Caulfield General Hospital attached to the Pain Management Centre, and is also qualified to provides medical acupuncture.

Dr Janovic is a keen cyclist and golfer.

Dr. Andrew Lim


Originating from Malaysia, Dr Andrew Lim completed his medical degree (MBBS) in Monash University, Clayton in 2005.

He then worked in various public hospitals including Frankston, Warragul, Box Hill, Angliss and Maroondah Hospital as a House Medical Officer before venturing into General Practice.

Training as a GP in a rural setting, allowed him a taste of country life as he spent 3 years in Gippsland: Wonthaggi and Lakes Entrance, before attaining fellowship of RACGP in 2010. In addition to his rural experience, Dr Lim also worked as a locum GP in far remote NSW towns for a short period, as far as Lightning Ridge. He is a keen footballer and ardent Arsenal Football Club fan.

Dr Lim has an interest in musculoskeletal medicine and administers injections for a variety of conditions for the shoulder, knee, hip bursitis, and carpal tunnel syndrome amongst many others.

Dr Lim now offers Intravenous Iron Infusions on a Tuesday afternoon.

Dr. Helwa (Eva) Abdul Hafidz


Languages spoken: English, Bahasa Malaysia & Bahasa Indonesia

Dr Eva Hafidz is a fellow of Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (FRACGP). She initially obtained her medical degree (MBChB) from the University of Otago, New Zealand in 2000. After graduating, she worked at various hospitals. During that time she also underwent vocational training with the Australasian Faculty of Rehabilitation Medicine which gave good experience in managing chronic conditions.

Dr Eva Hafidz then joined general practice and obtained her FRACGP qualification. She has special interest in women’s & children’s health, preventative medicine and chronic care management. She also enjoys teaching medicine to the next generation of doctors and is a medical educator and supervisor for medical students from the prestigious University of Melbourne.

Outside of work, Dr Eva Hafidz enjoys spending quality time with her husband and children, cooking, playing piano and gardening.

Dr. Andrew Protassow is a local doctor with 40 years of experience. His interests are in dermatology, minor surgical procedures and geriatrics.

Dr. Priya Reghunath


Dr. Priya Reghunath completed her medical training in India and undertook hospital years in India initially. After migrating to Australia in 2002, she worked in hospitals including Royal Women’s Hospital, Southern Health (Monash Medical Centre, Dandenong, Casey, Taralgon Hospitals) and went on to obtain Fellowship of Royal Australian College of General Practitioners.

Her area of special interest is in Women’s health and she holds a Diploma in Obstetrics & Gynaecology from RANZCOG. Dr Reghunath is also accredited to undertake shared antenatal care at the Eastern Health (Box Hill & Anglis), Royal Women’s Hospital and Mercy Hospital.

When not at work, Dr Reghunath may be seen on the sidelines cheering her children playing netball, or cooking in her kitchen.

Dr Martin Newbury


Dr Newbury has over 17 years of experience, initially training in Emergency Medicine and more recently General Practice, having obtained post-graduate diplomas in both. He focusses on a holistic approach to patient care, and has interests in musculo-skeletal medicine (including joint injections), mental health, minor surgical procedures and skin conditions.

When not at work Dr Newbury is a sports tragic, especially for tennis and cycling, and can often be found chasing after his young daughter around parks and shopping malls.
