Our Services include (but are not limited to);

    • Women’s Health:
      Including pap smears, family planning and antenatal shared care
    • Maternity Shared Care:
      Maternity shared care is a pregnancy care model in which an accredited GP will provide your antenatal care throughout your pregnancy.
      Dr Priya Reghunath is an Eastern Health accredited shared-care GP, which includes The Angliss and Box Hill Hospital. Dr Priya is also an accredited shared-care GP with the Royal Women’s, Mercy and Monash Hospitals.
      Dr Priya is also available for appointments after 5pm several days of the week, for your convenience.
    • Men’s Health
    • Children’s Health (including childhood vaccinations)
      Our team of Practice Nurses, including an Accredited Nurse Immuniser are on hand 5 days a week to assist doctors with childhood vaccinations.
    • Health/Medical assessments
      A Health Assessment is an in-depth assessment of health and risk factors in patients aged between 45-49 and over 75. Health assessments provides a structured way of identifying health issues and conditions that are potentially preventable.
      At Mooroolbark Medical Centre, we have a dedicated Health Assessment Nurse on duty 4 days a week to ensure our patients are receiving the best in preventative care.
      All Health Assessments booked in with our nurse will be bulk-billed on presentation of a valid Medicare Card.

    • Immunisation and Vaccinations
      Including travel medicine and vaccinations.
    • Work cover / Pre Employment Medicals
    • Skin Cancer Checks and Minor Procedures
      Dr Andrew Protassow and Dr Robert Orgonas both have interests in skin cancer and minor procedures, with Dr Robert Orgonas having undergone extensive training with the Skin Cancer College of Australasia and the Australian College of Cosmetic Surgery.
      Dr Orgonas is also qualified to perform cosmetic procedures such as dermal filler, botox and sclerotherapy.
    • Intravenous Iron Infusions
      Fatigue, dizziness and weakness are all signs of Iron Deficiency Aemenia,
      Once diagnosed, Iron Deficiency can be treated with Intravenous Iron Infusion, a procedure in which iron in administered intravenously by a doctor over the course of about an hour.
      Dr Andrew Lim runs Iron Infusion Clinics every Tuesday afternoon.
      Iron Infusion are run at an out of pocket expense of $79.45 and $49.45 for pension card holders.

    • GP Management /Team Care Plans
      Including Asthma Management and Action Plans.
    • Diabetes Management
      All of our doctors have a keen interest in diabetes management. On top of this, we also have an Accredited Diabetes Educator, Wendy Davidson, consulting 9 sessions a fortnight.
      Wendy is well known in the community for her wonderful engagement and success in helping and educating diabetic patients.
      Patients on an EPC for Diabetes will be bulk-billed for consultations with Wendy, on presentation of a valid Medicare Card.

      Including bulk-billed Home Medication Review, upon eligibility.
